The Bhattacharya lab hosts an international workshop
on lichen genomics.

November 2010
The lichen alga Trebouxia decolorans is being sequenced with partial funding from Illumina. Lichen specialists from Germany, Spain and Rutgers gathered to discuss the draft genome assembly and to plan future collaborative projects.
